Download terms

These terms cover the free resources you download from terrymanu.com, such as checklists, templates and guides. By downloading a resource, you agree to them. I've kept them short.

Who provides the resources

The resources are written and provided by me, Terry Manu Hennah, as an individual. You can reach me through the contact page.

What you can do with them

You're welcome to:

  • use a resource for yourself, and in your own work
  • use it inside your own organisation, and share it with colleagues there
  • adapt it for your own internal use
  • quote short parts of it, as long as you credit me by name and, where you can, link to terrymanu.com

What you can't do with them

Please don't:

  • sell a resource, or include it in anything you sell
  • publish it, or a version of it, as your own work
  • share it publicly, for example by posting the file online, without asking me first

I keep the copyright and other rights in every resource. These terms give you permission to use it, not ownership of it.

Some resources come through a link that is personal to you and works for a limited time. If you asked for a resource by email, the link in that email lasts 72 hours. Please don't pass the link on. If someone else would find a resource useful, point them to its page on this site. If a link has expired, you can ask for a new one.

If a resource asks for your email address, the privacy notice explains how I use it. You won't be added to the newsletter unless you tick the box to say you want it.

Not professional advice

The resources share general ideas and practical methods from my own experience. Nothing in them is financial, legal or professional advice for your situation. Check that a resource fits your circumstances before you rely on it, and take advice where you need it.

No guarantee

I put care into every resource, but I provide them free and as they are. I don't promise that a resource is complete, error-free or right for your purpose, or that the files will always be available.

Liability

As far as the law allows, I'm not responsible for any loss that comes from using a resource, including lost profit, lost data or business decisions made with it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that can't be limited or excluded under UK law. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud. If you're a consumer, these terms don't affect your legal rights.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you download a resource is the one that applies.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

These terms were last updated on 15 October 2026.
